Description:

This pigtail enables connection of an external antenna to a mini-PCI wireless card with a U.FL-LP-66 connector.
I-PEX connector is identical to H.FL and mates with cable-connector U.FL-LP-66, found on mini-PCI wireless cards such as

  • Intel PRO / wireless 2200BG Network Connection (WM3B2200BG)
  • Wistron Neweb CM9 Atheros 802.11a,b,g miniPCI Radio Card

Compatibility

RP-SMA(female) Connector fits items that have an RP-SMA (male) jack/connector.
RP-SMA = Reverse Polarity SMA

Gender determination:

Gender of the RP-SMA is counter-intuitive: Please zoom, observe the picture and note it is correct.
The gender is actually referring to the pins inside; not the threads. The SMA male has threads on inside.

Reverse polarization: "RP"
The connectors with an "RP" in the name are further complicated by the "reverse polarization" (RP). The pins are female when they appear to be male, and vice versa. In the documentation they are prefixed with the word "reverse".
